The enchanting actor shared,” I would love to just walk into a room and demand attention, be funny, crack stupid jokes, but I am not that person just as yet. I take time to trust and mingle with people and I still am in the process of breaking out of my shell. ” The actor's last release was Ek Villian which portrayed the actor in a never seen before light. He made his Bollywood debut with Karan Johar's Student Of The Year and then starred in Hasee Toh Phasee.

In a free-wheeling chat Sidharth revealed that he would love to date Kareena because of her magnificent personality. Bebo is taken, but is there a lady love in his life? Wonder which B-town lady can weave some magic on him now.

Pari outshines in Hasee Toh Phasee

Though Parineeti Chopra has time and again maintained she doesn't overpower her co-star's performance, but this Ambala girl can't help being brilliant at her craft.

You can blame it on her choice of scripts; " I reject scripts in which I don't have much to do," she said recently. And in Hasee Toh Phasee she is definitely the shining armour. Sidharth Malhotra also tries his best to be at ease with his character, his effort sometimes becomes visible. 

The film is more like Parineeti's Barfi than a romedy, though the two elements (romance and comedy) are in abundance in the film. More than physical romance, it is the small gestures of Sidharth that catch your eyes.

Comedy is a big part of the film's narrative and keeps it away from getting boring. More than anticipation of what happens next, the film keeps you engrossed with its simple love story.

There was hoopla about how two honchos -as different as chalk and cheese, Karan Johar and Anurag Kashyap- came together for this film, amongst the two Karan backing this film is more justified. He has rom-coms like I Hate Luv Storys and Gori Tere Pyaar Main et al, to his credit as a producer, but Anurag's association is hardly visible on screen, at least in execution. Karan leaves his trademark grandiose through the songs, albiet in small dosage. Director Vinil Mathew also makes his ad-world connect visible, a lot of times you wonder whether the film is experiencing and ad break. But Anurag'ism is nowhere to be found.

Though as regal as other Dharma protege's, Vinil's effort is worth an applause. He doesn't fall into the kiss-sells-so- should-be-highlighted trap. The kiss between Sidharth and Parineeti is shot subtly, doing justice to their unique romance.

Overall the film's worth a watch, to spent two and half hours . The film is another feather in Parineeti's cap, a good start for Vinil. Adah Sharma tries to impress, nearly reaches there, but her role isn't very exciting. Sidharth will have to opt for a more challenging role next time to prove his mettle. Hope, Mohit Suri's Villian does that.
